The ING Polish Art FoundationBrand Identity, Print, Illustration
When working on the logo for the ING Polish Art Foundation we discovered a wealth of symbolism contained in the collection of new Polish art. We decided to use the graphic potential of the collection and to connect it directly with the identification we were creating. The assumption that “the collection creates and identity for itself” seemed reasonable. We created a modular logotype whose symbols were inspired by graphic elements in the paintings which are part of the collection. What we achieved was a form with an open assembly which can be completed with new forms as the collection of the Foundation will grow.
Also the additional set of image symbols came into being. It can be used in materials connected to Fundation as a graphic art. The symbols can be repeated, filled with photography. Thanks to these symbols, the designer gets an extra work device.
