See&Say 2018

Young people often assume that they are not ready to share their creative outputs with the world. They wait until they have something sensational to grab and hold audience attention, bring glory, likes, and money. Some feel the pressure to have 300 years’ experience and 400 projects in their 20s. We want the 2018 See & Say campaign to overcome perfectionism and say EVERYBODY’S GOT SOMETHING. Everybody has something to hide, but still, has something to show. All you have to do is open the drawer. Identifying our project’s needs, we visualized this creating black round dots. Large-scale black dots symbolize strength while the fuzzy ones represent uncertainty. Divided into categories and arranged in drawers, they create a cohesive body of work. The layout elements vary in different campaign portfolios. We used the main graphic theme to show various facets of the See & Say campaign.

The project, aside from the campaign, included a graphic design project and promotional materials in the post-competition event MUST SEE. An additional element of the campaign was a GIF maker created by PanGenerator. Participants of the exhibition received a special link for making their own custom animated invitations to the event.
